The L10-CCS project has been awarded €55,3 million in funding from the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), following a successful application under the 2024 call for CEF funding.

In July 2025, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and Eni Netherlands CCUS B.V. formally signed the grant agreement.

L10-CCS is among 41 cross-border energy infrastructure projects selected for CEF support, together receiving nearly €1.25 billion in EU funding. All selected projects have obtained status of Projects of Common Interest and Projects of Mutual Interest (PCIs and PMIs) in 2024 under the Trans-European Networks for Energy (TEN-E) policy framework, reflecting their strategic importance for Europe’s energy transition and climate objectives.
